Get to Know Cris

01. Describe yourself in nine words.

Curious, patient, empathetic, witty, reliable, funny, wise, creative and passionate.

02. What are you most proud of accomplishing in the past quarter?

It’s been the culmination of SnapDragon apple’s entire brand redesign. With the start of the season, we’re finally seeing it all come to life—new display stands, fresh swag and the debut of the new Snappy illustration. This one was especially meaningful since I had the opportunity to lead the collaboration with a new illustrator.

03. What challenges at work inspire you the most?

Challenges that push me beyond my comfort zone inspire me the most. They drive me to explore new ideas, experiment with different approaches and grow both creatively and professionally.

04. What do you do to relax and recharge outside of work hours?

Relax? I’m always running on anxious energy. But when it comes to recharging, YouTube is my go-to. My current lineup includes deep dives into new tech, how-to videos (learning the ins and outs of a mirrorless camera is on repeat right now), plus plenty of Giant Bombcast, Digital Foundry and whatever else grabs my curiosity.

05. What’s your go-to coffee order?

Venti Pistachio Cream Cold Brew with Extra Foam.

06. What do you plan to do with your bonus or extra PTO day?

"My wife" (in Borat voice) has been eyeing a new Dyson, and since she does so much for our family, it’s only right that I spoil her with some well-deserved gifts.

07. What’s your favorite Slide Nine memory?

My favorite Slide Nine memory has to be my first in-person QBR. It was my first time in Ohio, and finally meeting the team face-to-face made it even more special. The scavenger hunt gave me a chance to explore the town alongside some Ohioans, all while bonding with my colleagues on a more personal level. That experience not only deepened my connection with the team but also gave me a newfound appreciation for just how genuinely nice people from Ohio are—something I couldn’t help but notice even more when I returned to Miami.

08. If you could spend nine days anywhere in the world, where would you travel?

I'm not sure if nine days would be enough, but Japan is definitely at the top of my travel list. Its culture has heavily influenced the pop aesthetics I love—Nintendo, anime and legendary samurai warriors. It's a country rich in history, creativity and global influence.

09. Who is your favorite social media creator?

Since I live on YouTube, my favorite creator is Marques.
