Our team of curious minds keeps getting bigger — and better. In March, we welcomed four new team members including a new director, Krista Hazen, two account executives, Kat Ricketts and Anna Soppelsa, and an account associate, Konni Lorenz.
Krista is a passionate leader who has led strategic communications initiatives and multi-disciplined teams to ideate, create and execute award-winning holistic, marketing communications programs for brands such as Whirlpool, AARP Services, Inc., Columbia Gas of Ohio and Elmer’s.
She earned a bachelor's or arts degree in communications from John Carroll University; a Master's degree in strategic communication and leadership from Seton Hall University; and a doctoral degree in interdisciplinary leadership from Creighton University.
Krista serves as the president of board of directors for CATCO, the Development Board of Nationwide Children’s Hospital and as a committee member of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association annual LIFT (Leveraging the Impact of Female Talent) event. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, attending performing arts events and volunteering in the community. As a certified SCUBA diver, Krista literally and figuratively enjoys swimming with sharks.
Kat Ricketts joins FrazierHeiby from a corporate background, having previously served on in-house communications teams for large companies such as Cardinal Health and Honda. She is a strong writer and enjoys fast-paced and collaborative work. With a degree in technical writing, her expertise lies in partnering with subject matter experts to communicate complex topics.
Anna is a skilled social media user with an interest in making the world a better place. She enjoys finding ways to blend humor with her work to provide a lighter, more engaging way of communicating with an audience. She's passionate about finding creative ways to tell a story and conceiving new solutions for difficult problems. In her spare time you can find her rewatching Marvel movies, practicing yoga or reading.
Konni Lorenz is a recent graduate of The Ohio State University where she studied strategic communications. She was an active member of Ohio State’s chapter of PRSSA, serving as president her senior year;being named the 2020 PRSSA Outstanding Graduate by the Central Ohio PRSA; and receiving the 2020 PRSSA National Gold Key award. She brings experience in copywriting, social media, event coordination, employee engagement, media relations and more, for a wide variety of industries such as higher education, software, finance, technology, real estate, and even a major airline.
